The Watch and Clockmakers of Australia Inc. The WCA is the association of watch and clock repairers in Australia. The association is incorporated in New South Wales. The liability of the members is limited.

Welcome to our website, we trust it will be of benefit to those who work in the trade and of interest to those who collect or share the passion for things horological.

National Meeting   28-30th October 2016

The NSW Branch is hosting the National Meeting in Sydney this year. The venue will be the The Mercure Hotel, Railway Square  818-820 George Street Sydney.
The three day program ties in with –
  • 75th Anniversary of the Watchmaking School in Sydney
  • Exhibition of Harrisons clocks at the Maritime Museum in Sydney.
A  guided tour of the Exhibition – Ships Clocks and Stars at the Maritime Museum will be included and this will be your last opportunity  to see Harison’s Clocks in Australia as they return to Greenwich the following week.                                                Rory McEvoy, Curator of Horology at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, London will be a keynote speaker  at our meeting.
The program will feature many industry representatives displaying new products and a Technical Seminar on Friday 28th at Sydney Tafe.
The Sunday program will include an auction of  tools, equipment and spare parts for your  workshop.
The Program and Registration form has been mailed to all members. This meeting offers a great opportunity to get together with colleagues in the trade and take up friends and acquaintances you have not seen since last year in Brisbane.
